The venerable Paul Azinger's success in the late 80s and 90s climaxed with his win at the 1993 PGA Championship. Soon after, he began a battle with cancer, wrote a book, and was awarded the GWAA Ben Hogan Award in 1995 for his continued activity in golf despite physical handicap or serious illness.
