This design was adapted from the original Chicago Stock Exchange elevator grille, created by the influential architect; Louis H. Sullivan. Mr. Sullivan is credited as creator of the modern skyscraper and the father of modernism. His architectural contributions are landmarks and his attention to detail is legendary, as seen in this unique open grid screen.
